DACCO Provides three medicated assisted treatments
- Methadone treatment for Opioids
- Suboxone treatment for Opioids
- Vivitrol treatment for Opioids and alcohol
The Opioid Addiction Treatment (OATS) program at DACCO provides treatment to individuals age 18 and older who are addicted to either prescription (Oxycontin, Vicodin, Fentanyl) or street (heroin) opiate drugs who need a bridge between addiction and sobriety. Our medication assisted treatment include the use of prescribed Methadone, Suboxone or Vivitrol. These medications prevent withdrawal symptoms and control cravings. Our program adheres to the State of Florida guidelines, and is supervised by a licensed physician. Our medications are administered by licensed nurses. In addition to medical care, individuals receive individual counseling to treat the substance use disorder.
